State Farm files trademark for Merna

State Farm  has filed a trademark application for “Merna,” signaling plans for a digital platform spanning insurance and financial services.

The application covers mobile and web-based software for insurance quotes, premium billing, underwriting, claims administration and agency services across auto, home, health, life and fire insurance. It also describes tools for managing customer relationships, marketing, leads, databases and API connections.

Beyond insurance, the filing covers banking services, mutual fund investments and financial analysis and consulting.

State Farm filed the application on July 20, 2026. The filing includes a logo featuring a dotted circular design above the Merna name.
