State Farm files Select Service home repair trademark
State Farm filed a trademark application for “Select Service” covering insurance claims processing for others in the area of home repair.
The filing, submitted on June 24, 2026, comes even though Select Service is not a new brand for the insurer. State Farm has long used the name for its Select Service Vehicle Repair program, a network of auto body shops that provide policyholders with repair and claims-related services.
The newly filed application appears to extend the brand to State Farm’s Select Service Home Repair Program, a voluntary program that connects policyholders with networks of roofing, mitigation, general contracting, and flooring providers following covered property losses.
Under the program, policyholders can access vetted contractors, direct payment options in certain cases, and workmanship warranties on completed repairs.
