Zurich Australia appoints new Head of SME
Zurich Australia announced the appointment of James Garrett to the position of Head of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) for General Insurance in Australia & New Zealand.
Mr Garrett has worked with Zurich for more than 12 years, holding various positions in SME underwriting including most recently as a Digital Portfolio Manager with responsibility for a large portfolio of SME customers.
The announcement follows the appointment of Theo Pitsikas to the newly created role of Head of SME, APAC.

The appointments are effective from June 16, 2025. Mr Garrett will continue to be based in Sydney. Mr Pitsikas will relocate from Australia to Singapore.
