Unum joins Generali’s Global Employee Benefits network

Generali Employee Benefits (GEB) Network has entered a strategic partnership with Unum , under which Unum will assume renewal rights for Generali UK’s Group Risk business.

The agreement includes the transfer of in-force policy administration and claims servicing to Unum, along with the integration of Generali UK’s employee benefits team into Unum’s operations.

The move strengthens GEB’s ability to serve multinational clients through an enhanced UK presence, while Unum expands its domestic portfolio and service capabilities. A full transfer of remaining policies and claims will be pursued under Part VII of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, subject to regulatory approval.
