MGA Bamboo launches California homeowners program

Bamboo Insurance has launched Essential, a California HO-2 homeowners program designed to offer lower-cost coverage focused on core protection.

The program is available for owner-occupied primary residences as well as seasonal and secondary homes. Bamboo said it is designed to accommodate a broader range of properties, including older homes and those with prior loss history that may face challenges in the standard admitted market.

The launch follows Bamboo’s recent expansion of its California homeowners portfolio, including the introduction of a condominium unit-owners (HO-6) policy and the launch of its E&S Signature program in Texas through an MGA-sponsored sidecar with Accredited.
