Bamboo launches flexible homeowners product in Texas

Bamboo Insurance  has launched Texas Essential, a new admitted homeowners insurance program in Texas.

The product allows policyholders to select roof coverage, water coverage and loss-settlement options based on their property and budget. Optional add-ons are available, along with premium credits for qualifying home improvements and discounts for claim-free customers and recent homebuyers.

The launch follows Bamboo’s introduction of an Essential homeowners program in California in July. The company also added approximately $150 million in admitted California capacity through a partnership with MS Transverse.
