Bamboo delays IPO

According to a report by Bloomberg, Bamboo Insurance has postponed its initial public offering.

The home insurance provider filed for an IPO in August, and last week, it announced that it was seeking to raise as much as $700 million at a ~$3 billion valuation.

Bamboo was founded in 2018 and valued at $1.75 billion when CVC-advised funds purchased a controlling stake in the company from White Mountains Insurance Group.

Bamboo Insurance’s MGA written premium grew from $66.6 million in 2022 to $696.1 million in 2025—a $629.5 million increase, or about 945%.
