MAPFRE USA hires Jesse Zimmerman to lead commercial lines

MAPFRE Insurance ,  a commercial auto writer and home insurer in Massachusetts, announced that Jesse Zimmerman has joined the leadership team as Vice President of Commercial Lines, to oversee the company’s Commercial Underwriting and Product departments.

Zimmerman, who has 20 years’ experience in the property and casualty insurance industry, will lead MAPFRE’s Commercial Lines strategy in Massachusetts, evaluating opportunities to further strengthen the company’s position in commercial auto and grow its commercial property business. Previously, Zimmerman served in small commercial and personal lines at Travelers Insurance, Hartford Financial Services Group and Allstate.
