Lemonade expands renters insurance to Maine

Lemonade , which serves more than 3 million customers across the US, UK and Europe, has launched renters insurance in Maine, with coverage starting at $5 per month.

Customers can use the Lemonade app to receive quotes, purchase and update policies, and file claims. According to the insurer, about 40% of renters claims are handled instantly.

Customers may qualify for discounts by bundling policies, installing eligible home safety devices or paying annually.

Lemonade also filed to introduce pet insurance in Idaho, effective November 18, 2026.
