Lemonade brings autonomous car insurance to Tennessee

Lemonade announced that its Autonomous Car insurance is now available in Tennessee, the fifth state since launching the coverage in January.

The product gives Tesla owners 50% off every mile driven using Tesla’s Full Self-Driving technology.

Lemonade continues to offer its existing car insurance in Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington.

Separately, Tesla is taking a broader approach. In California—its largest insurance market—the company has filed for a new rating plan that includes a 20% discount for electric vehicles, extending savings beyond Tesla’s Full Self-Driving users.
