Generali Country Italia Partners With Fiat

Generali Country Italia and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Group (FCA) have signed a letter of intent  to develop products and services for the automotive and connected vehicles sectors, and offer them to the insurance market.

As part of the partnership, the companies will explore the following: (1) Offering Genertel usage-based insurance policies for connected FCA range models purchased through FCA Bank. (2) Offering other forms of usage-based insurance coverage and innovative digital mobility services for FCA customers. (3) The possibility for Generali Italia agencies to offer long-term rental packages for FCA vehicles by Leasys, the FCA Bank mobility and long-term rental company. (4) Offering Generali customers FCA maintenance services and extended warranty packages. (5) Synergies between Generali Country Italia’s network of approved car repair workshops and FCA, to offer joint customers the option of having their vehicles repaired by FCA authorized workshops and encourage the use of genuine FCA spare parts by body repair workshops in the Generali network.
