GEICO adds auto insurance estimates to ChatGPT

GEICO has introduced a ChatGPT app that allows users to get an estimate of their auto insurance premium through a conversation.

According to the app listing, users can request a GEICO estimate, ask about insurance costs for a particular vehicle or explore pricing when switching insurers.

Estimates are based on information provided by the user and are not final quotes. Users are directed to GEICO.com to confirm their rate, review coverage options and purchase a policy.

GEICO joins U.S. insurers with ChatGPT apps, including Allstate, Liberty Mutual, Plymouth Rock, MetLife Pet, EMPLOYERS and ALPS.
