Ameritas names Jake McCoy VP of Actuarial

Ameritas has appointed Jake McCoy vice president of actuarial for its individual insurance business.

McCoy will lead financial strategy and support the growth and profitability of the company’s disability income business. He joins Ameritas after holding leadership positions at Principal Financial Group, Lincoln Financial, and Equitable.

McCoy holds a degree in actuarial science from the University of Northern Iowa and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
