Eddy Travels Partners with SafetyWing

Toronto-based Eddy Travels , an AI travel assistant that allows users to find the best flight and hotel deals via a chat app, announced its partnership with travel insurance startup SafetyWing.

Established in 2017,  SafetyWing is a travel and medical insurance provider that’s building a “global safety net for online freelancers and entrepreneurs.” Coverage for unexpected illness or injury, including eligible expenses for hospital, doctor or prescription drugs is offered by Tokio Marine HCC and includes a $250 deductible and a $250k maximum limit.

Last, the companies plan to expand the integration between Eddy Travels and SafetyWing further to provide “an even smoother experience for travelers who are looking for travel medical insurance.”
