Geico is hiring; looking to fill some 600 or so positions in sales, claims and service over the next six years in Buffalo. Buffalo (?!) because the State of New York is providing $4 million in exchange for these additional jobs. Speaking of Geico, Buffett’s favorite (among others) had the greatest number of TV spots during the opening weekend of the Olympics. By ‘others’ think: DirecTV, Progressive, and Chrysler.
