RT ProExec launches community association liability program
RT Specialty , the wholesale brokerage division of Ryan Specialty, has launched a Community Association Program for homeowners’, condominium and property owners’ associations, as well as the community and property management companies that serve them.
Available in all 50 states exclusively through RT ProExec, the program offers limits up to $5 million, with coverage available standalone or packaged and general liability retentions starting at $0.
The program combines professional liability, directors and officers, employment practices, fiduciary, crime and occurrence-based general liability coverage with protection for pollution, technology, media and sexual misconduct exposures.
Coverage addresses risks including sewage backups and fuel leaks; liability related to resident portals, online payments and access-control systems; and defamation, privacy and copyright claims arising from association communications. It also provides defense for board members and officers named in sexual misconduct allegations, including negligent hiring or supervision claims.
Bottom Line: The program responds to associations’ expanding responsibilities as boards manage digital services, aging buildings, staff and vendors.
