Ping An names Ray Wang CTO

Ping An  has appointed Ray Wang as Chief Technology Officer and General Manager of Ping An Technology to accelerate its digital transformation.

Wang, who previously held senior roles at Google, Bloomberg, Baidu, and Ant Group, brings nearly two decades of experience in AI and financial technology. His leadership will focus on integrating Ping An’s large language models and data platforms to advance five core digital systems spanning business, operations, and customer service. The move supports Ping An’s dual strategy of integrated finance and senior care. Wang joins a 21,000-person tech team, which has collectively filed over 55,000 patent applications to date.
