TicketGuardian Partners with Concert Promoter Feyline

Feyline partnered with TicketGuardian; making it its ticket insurance provider of choice .

Launched in 2016 by Bryan Derbyshire, CA-based TicketGuardian has raised $1.5M in equity and debt to “bridge the gap between the “non-refundable” world that is ticketing and bring peace of mind, understanding that life still happens.” It offers coverage up to $2,500 for each certificate of coverage issued on a per- ticket basis.

Here’s a look at its flow:

Three things to note. One. Users can submit claims online. Two. Coverage is administered by Online Shipping Insurance and its underwriters. Three. TicketGuardian is mobile friendly and offers an API + dashboard to allow partners to easily see when a claim has been approved so they can resell tickets.

Note: the company operates in the same space as Madrid-based Sharenjoy that launched in 2016 to offer microinsurance coverage for social events starting at €3.99.
