Swedish Insurer Partners With Scandinavia’s Largest Car Sharing Platform

Tryg-backed non-life insurer Moderna has announced its partnership with GoMore to offer insurance for rentals.

“It’s very fun to get the team up with a progressive and digital company like GoMore and to get a special insurance product within the sharing economy. Cooperation with GoMore will be a way for us to learn more about sharing services and understand how we can contribute smart insurance solutions in a growing market .” – Moderna CEO, Leif Eliasson.

Relaunched in 2011, GoMore has raised $9.5M for its ridesharing-slash-P2P car rental platform that is now enjoyed by ~2M users – making it Scandinavia’s largest car-sharing platform, where individuals can lend their cars to other individuals. “At GoMore we work to make it easy and safe to share your car with others and a good insurance partner is essential for our success. Therefore, we are particularly proud to have [Moderna] on board, an innovative company with which we also share many values. Together we can help several Swedes begin to share their cars with each other.” – Marketing Manager for GoMore in Sweden, Klara Bergqvist.
