Sustainable Convenience by Centraal Beheer

Homeowners can now turn to Centraal Beheer for solar panels.

“We see that many consumers are struggling with making their home more sustainable. Customer research shows that 65% of customers want to make their home more sustainable, but experience it as complicated. They do not know where to start and which party to engage. They can no longer see the forest for the trees. We are happy to help them with the expertise that we have and with our partners. As an insurer, we have years of experience with solar panels and therefore know how important it is that they are installed correctly. We not only know what can go wrong, but also how they should be installed. That is why we only work with selected partners who meet all quality marks.” – Director of Centraal Beheer, Marteyn Roose.

In what is the first version of this initiative dubbed ‘Sustainable Convenience’, the insurer redirects homeowners to a landing page to check whether their roof is suitable for solar panels, how many panels can fit on it and how much will it cost. There’s also an option to have a consultant stop by the home for a personal consultation. Later an offer can be made. The service is provided in partnership with Zon Advies Nederland.

Bottom Line: Sustainable Housing fits in with the direction of Centraal Beheer to not only offer insurance but also services – “to always help consumers further and to offer daily convenience.”
