Sun Life Financial Invests in HR Benefits Experience
Sun Life Financial has recently announced its $15m equity investment in Rise People, Canada’s first and only all-in-one HR, payroll and benefits administration solution. It also has the option to invest an additional $9m under agreed terms.
Rise People , established in 2011, offers a single platform for managing employers’ administration needs from HR, time tracking, payroll, and benefits administration. “We know first-hand how complex the group benefits and HR administration process can be. Companies are looking for simple, integrated and tech-savvy solutions so that they can focus on what matters the most – employees. Together, the companies will focus on onboarding and enrollment experience, HR and benefits experience, and an integration with Sun Life, giving administrators a one-and-done tool. This integrated solution will be rolled out to small to mid-sized employers and clients across Canada in the first quarter of 2019.
