Seriously analyzing Lemonade’s latest

On CEO & Co-Founder at Lemonade Inc. Daniel Schreiber set out to LinkedIn Pulse to announce that Lemonade has set a new world record.

Without getting touchy-feely, a Lemonade policyholder by the name of Brandon lost his $979 worth jacket and filed a claim on Dec. 23, 2016. In 3 seconds the claim was approved and Brandon was wired $979-$250 deductible=$729 to his banking account.

Hold that thought.

Daniel Schreiber also published the same post on Medium (yes, the platform that needs a get well soon card now that it’s 50 peeps short). Same exact-slash-great message.

Spot the differences.

Seriously, mockup is an art.

On a more serious note. Lemonade reimbursed Brandon for the replacement cost of his jacket minus the deductible. In part, because of 18 fraud algos. In part, because of an honesty pledge. In full, because they are a high tech company selling insurance.
