QBE partners with PARIMA for next generation risk challenge

QBE Insurance has partnered with Pan-Asia Risk and Insurance Management Association (PARIMA) as the title sponsor of the PARIMA Next-Gen Risk Takers Challenge 2026, an initiative aimed at developing emerging risk professionals across Asia.

The program will host six regional rounds in Hong Kong, Taipei, Manila, Mumbai, Penang, and Beijing, with one winner selected in each city. The finalists will then compete at PARIMA’s Singapore Conference in the Grand Final Challenge.

Each challenge will be judged by a three member panel consisting of two PARIMA representatives and one representative from QBE.

The overall winner will be invited to participate in the 2027 edition of Equip, QBE’s broker development program, or a similar leadership initiative.

PARIMA said the initiative is designed to strengthen the risk management profession across Asia by providing young practitioners with industry exposure, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.

PARIMA counts more than 2,600 members representing over 1,300 companies and works with 31 partners across the Asia Pacific region.
