Blue Zebra and QBE renew motor insurance partnership

Blue Zebra Insurance has renewed its partnership with QBE under a multi-year agreement covering personal and commercial motor insurance in Australia.

QBE Insurance joined Blue Zebra as a capacity provider just over a year ago. Blue Zebra said the renewed agreement is intended to provide greater consistency and predictability for its broker partners and customers.

The underwriting agency has also expanded its motor insurance team with three appointments:

• Ryan Grigg has joined as head of claims and will oversee claims operations across Blue Zebra, SGUA, Allstate and Point.
• Sarahjane Goldych has been appointed motor claims manager, responsible for overseeing end-to-end motor claims operations delivered through Blue Zebra’s third-party administrator.
• Brenden Anforth has joined as senior technical underwriter for the motor portfolio, supporting complex risks and the development of the agency’s technical underwriting capabilities.

Grigg has more than 18 years of general insurance experience, while Goldych and Anforth each bring 15 years of industry experience.
