Meta expands Muse to small businesses
Meta has launched Muse for Small Business, adding skills and software connections to help business owners manage operations, find customers and review financial performance.
The expansion follows the September launch of Muse, Meta’s personal AI agent available in the US and Canada. Business owners can connect tools including Intuit QuickBooks, Shopify, Stripe, HighLevel, Canva, Asana, Box, Dropbox, Notion, Slack and Zoom, alongside Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts and Meta ad accounts.
Meta says Muse can use those connections to analyze sales and campaigns, draft marketing content, flag emails requiring attention and identify unusual expenses. The agent can also proactively suggest work. Publishing, sending messages and spending require user approval.
Early users include a grocery owner, an orchard operator and a retailer. April Polk, founder of JaeLuxe Shoetique, said Muse audited her email automations, removed duplicate flows, rebuilt templates and enabled sales tracking while she continued running her other businesses.
Muse supports custom connectors for services outside its existing integrations. Meta says most everyday uses are free, with subscription plans available for additional usage.
Bottom Line: The relevance is the business context Muse can access: financial records, customer files, contracts and daily operations. For insurance agencies, that could support marketing and administrative work. For commercial insurers and brokers, it raises the prospect of a business owner’s agent becoming another interface for reviewing insurance expenses and preparing information for a quote.
