MagicQuote is Automagical

Earlier this year, Richmond, VA-based Merlinio announced its intention to offer car insurance to millennials. Now, via its MagicQuote app – a user can ‘scan and shop’ for auto insurance from select insurers including: Farmers, Grange and National General; to name three.

The Idea – an app that allows users to scan their driver’s license and VIN to pre-fill some of the data and obtain insurance quotes.

Bottom Line: Go, which promises “a cheetah-fast quote within 60 seconds” comes to mind.
