Life360 tracks pets

Life360 , best known for its family safety app, recently entered the pet tech space with the launch of Pet GPS, a $49.99 tracker that attaches to a collar or harness to provide real-time location updates for dogs and cats. The device combines cellular, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth to deliver updates every few seconds and includes geofencing, escape alerts, and access to Life360’s 88 million-member network.

Separately, in insurance, PURE offers auto policyholders a complimentary two-year Life360 Gold membership, which provides crash detection, driving reports, and emergency dispatch services at no cost.

Life360, Inc. went public in the US on June 6, 2024, under the ticker symbol “LIF” on the Nasdaq Stock Market. Its stock has since climbed more than 260% to $97.86.
