Lemonade withdraws home program in Montana

Lemonade is withdrawing its homeowners program in Montana, noting that the product was never released.

“Upon further analysis and strategic planning, we have decided not to proceed with the launch of our originally proposed Homeowners program for which the filed documents were intended. As such, the forms, rates, and rules associated with this program have never been implemented or utilized in any capacity.”

Instead, the company plans to launch a new renters program.

Lemonade’s pet business in the state is small, with 349 policyholders as of mid-2022.
