Lemonade expands renters insurance to Nebraska

Lemonade has launched renters insurance in Nebraska, expanding the product’s availability to renters across the state.

Customers can use Lemonade’s app to obtain quotes, purchase and update policies, and file claims. The insurer says more than half of renters claims are handled instantly.

Coverage starts at $5 per month, with additional discounts potentially available to customers who bundle policies, install qualifying home safety devices, or pay annually.

Separately, Lemonade is easing certain renters insurance eligibility requirements in Florida, including its prior-loss restrictions, beginning August 4, 2026, for new business and December 4, 2026, for renewals.
