Lemonade drops its P2P term

Lemonade goes at it again, saying:

It’s not a P2P company.

It’s not an old insurance company with an app.

It’s a tech company doing insurance.

It sold 1,212 policies *insert hand claps here*.

Now here’s what you really need to know.

87% of their customers bought their first home insurance product through Lemonade.

Op-Ed. Lemonade is building awareness in a segment that for the most part has never been targeted. Since Lemonade didn’t share its conversion rates, it’s possible that ‘awareness’ will lead to ‘shopping’ will lead to Geico. That’s Newton’s third law. For every action there’s an equal and opposite reaction.

Oh, and Brandon Pham is real.
