Inszone expands in the Midwest with Ohio Valley Insurance acquisition

Inszone Insurance  has acquired Ohio Valley Insurance, an Ohio-based independent agency focused on agricultural and crop insurance, as part of its continued expansion strategy in the Midwest.

Founded in 2003 as Ohio Valley Crop Insurance, the agency built its business serving farmers and agricultural operations before expanding its offerings and rebranding in 2014. The firm is led by co-owners Allan Murray and Lindsey Hagan, who joined the business in 2007 and 2021, respectively.

The deal adds agricultural expertise to Inszone’s platform, a segment the company is looking to grow as it builds out capabilities for farming communities and rural businesses.

Ohio Valley’s team will remain in place following the acquisition, with Murray continuing in a leadership role. Clients will retain local service while gaining access to additional carriers, technology, and resources through Inszone.

Inszone, founded in 2002 and headquartered in Sacramento, operates as a national brokerage offering property and casualty and employee benefits solutions, and has been expanding through a steady stream of acquisitions across multiple states.
