Inszone acquires Corporate Insurance Group

Inszone Insurance has acquired Corporate Insurance Group, a commercial-lines agency serving clients across Tennessee, Mississippi and Texas.

Founded in 1999 by Mark Sharpe, Corporate Insurance Group specializes in workers’ compensation, commercial auto and general liability, with additional expertise in personal care services, adult day care, artisan contractors and non-emergency medical transportation.

Sharpe will remain with the agency following the transaction. Inszone said Corporate Insurance Group clients will gain access to its carrier markets, technology and back-office resources as the team integrates into the national brokerage’s platform.

Sacramento-based Inszone, founded in 2002, offers commercial, personal and employee benefits insurance and has expanded through acquisitions across 27 states.
