Howden Re launches Novark

Howden Re has launched Novark, an insurance management and securities administration platform designed to connect institutional capital with insurance risk.

The platform provides investors with near real-time information on their insurance investments while helping insurers and reinsurers access and manage third-party capital. It supports institutional investors, ILS funds, carriers, reinsurers, brokers, and other market participants across administration, governance, and reporting.

The Howden-backed Novark Group includes the technology platform; Novark Management, a Bermuda insurance management and securities administration company currently known as Alternative Risk Management (Bermuda); and Novark Re, a Class 3 insurer and segregated accounts company currently known as ARM Insurance.

Razi Naqvi, chief innovation officer at Howden Re, is leading the platform’s development and implementation.
