HCF to pilot QR code claiming for extras services
HCF members will soon be able to make on-the-spot claims for extras services using a QR code on their mobile phones.
Members will be able to scan a QR code available through their HCF Membership app at new HICAPS Trinity terminals, providing a “quick, easy and convenient” alternative to using their physical membership card. The contactless QR code claims are currently being trialled in a pilot by HCF staff and NAB corporate members and if successful, will be available to HCF’s entire membership base later this year.
The QR code claiming solution is a joint initiative developed between HCF, Australia’s largest not-for-profit health fund, and HICAPS, a healthcare claiming solution.
