Getsafe acquires helden.de

Getsafe acquired Hamburg-based insurance broker helden.de , adding more than 100,000 policies across liability, home contents, and bicycle insurance to its platform. The company said the contracts will be fully integrated into its existing platform, with no disruption for customers.

Founded in 2016, helden.de built what Getsafe described as a profitable portfolio after raising around €25 million and focusing on digital distribution rather than comparison portals. The deal follows Getsafe’s 2023 acquisition of around 50,000 contracts from Luko Germany and supports its push to build a broader open MGA platform spanning P&C, pet, dental, life, health, and retirement products.
