Fuse launches Retail & Distribution hub, its seventeenth industry vertical

NEW YORK, 9 September 2026 — Fuse International, Inc. today launched its Retail & Distribution hub, extending the company’s industry coverage to seventeen verticals. The hub gives brokers, underwriters and product teams a continuously updated read on where the retail and distribution market is moving, assembled from public filings, regulatory feeds and economic data rather than from survey or opinion.

Retail and distribution accounts represent one of the largest concentrations of small commercial and middle market premium in the United States, and one of the least well served by existing market intelligence. Coverage decisions in the class turn on factors that move quickly and are documented publicly — product recalls, liability verdicts, goods and freight cost, crime exposure, and the exclusions carriers add to their forms — but that information sits scattered across dozens of sources and is rarely read together.

The Fuse Retail & Distribution hub monitors those sources continuously and synthesizes them into a specific read by state and class: which carriers are writing, what their filed rate movement looks like, which classes they have declared they will not write, which exclusions are spreading through their forms, and what conditions in the wider market are moving alongside those decisions.

What the hub monitors

Consumer product and vehicle recall feeds, product liability and litigation signals, retail crime and loss data, goods and materials producer prices, freight and port activity, carrier rate and form filings by state, surplus lines appetite movement, statutory results for the carriers writing the class, and catastrophe and peril activity against retail property concentrations.

Every figure the hub reports carries a reference to the filing or public record it came from, and the verbatim text it was read from where the source document provides it.

“Retail and distribution is a class where the market moves faster than the reporting on it,” said Sean Bourgeois, Founder and CEO of Fuse International. “A recall, a verdict, a change in freight cost or a new exclusion in a form can change how a class is priced within a quarter, and most teams find out when a renewal comes back different. We built this hub so that a broker or a product team can see the movement while it is happening, with the source document behind every number.”
