Extend now offers furniture protection plans
San Francisco-based startup allowing merchants to offer product protection plans for their customers Extend announced the expansion of its API-first extended warranty platform into the furniture industry through its servicing partnerships with provider of furniture care Guardsman.
Founded in 2019 and currently a team of 103 according to LinkedIn, Extend offers a plugin that works with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, Big Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Hybris, 3DCart, and others, along with an API solution for those with a custom online store. Extend’s deep integration into Guardsman’s service and product offerings marks its first step into the furniture protection plan space – growing its reach beyond consumer electronics, sports and fitness equipment, auto parts, appliances, furniture, jewelry and watches, medical devices, glasses, and more.
