Direct pojišťovna to the max

Czech non-life insurer Direct Pojišťovna announced the launch of a new property insurance product where it will always cover clients “for all risks to the maximum;”(meaning the value of the building or contents).

“We removed everything that hindered and was in vain. People can arrange the insurance of their house, flat, cottage, or household much easier and faster than before. Everyone can do it .”

“Until now, they had to choose how much they want to be insured for, and for some insurance risks, a maximum limit was set. This was the case, for example, for the risk of water leaking or short-circuit damage to the appliances. It could have happened that the chosen limit was not enough for them and we could not compensate them for the entire damage. However, this will no longer happen, because we will always protect our clients to the maximum, ie to the amount they set as the value of the building or household.”

The insurer also expanded the range of assistance services included with each policy. In addition, it will help clients in the following cases: heat source failure, failure of garden equipment, workshop equipment and hand tools, and deratization, disinsection, and disinfection.

Last, Direct pojišťovna also simplified its policy language. “We tried to write them as humanly as possible so that everyone could understand them.”
