Deutsche Bank and DWS extend Zurich partnerships through 2042
Deutsche Bank has extended its distribution partnership with Zurich Group Germany ahead of schedule through the end of 2042. Zurich’s collaboration with asset manager DWS will also continue through 2042.
The arrangements cover Zurich life, protection and property insurance products alongside DWS fund investment solutions, distributed through Deutsche Bank and Postbank’s advisory services.
“The early extension of our partnership reflects an exceptionally successful collaboration and the great trust between our companies. It lays a stable foundation for the further expansion of one of the most successful bancassurance partnerships in Germany. This allows us to develop our range of services in the long term and unlock additional growth potential.”
– CEO of Zurich Group Germany, Carsten Schildknecht.
The partners plan to invest in digital processes, products and customer service to expand access to insurance, retirement planning and wealth accumulation solutions. The extension comes as Germany debates changes to private retirement provision, securing a long-term bank distribution channel for Zurich.
