Zurich Germany appoints Nina Henschel as chief sales officer

Zurich Group Germany  has named Nina Henschel as Chief Sales Officer for Private and Commercial Customers, effective no later than September 1, 2026, when she will also join the German management board.

Henschel joins from ERGO Group, where she has served on the executive board since 2023 with responsibility for partner sales and group health business, and previously held senior leadership roles at R+V Versicherung and AXA. She succeeds Ulrich Christmann, who will retire on June 30, 2026, following more than four decades in banking and insurance.

Zurich said Henschel brings a strong track record in new customer acquisition, profitability, product innovation, and sales process efficiency, as the insurer continues to integrate and streamline its retail distribution across exclusive partners, brokers, and bank channels.
