Cowbell launches cyber insurance program in Australia

Cowbell has launched in Australia with Prime One, a standalone cyber insurance program for small and mid-sized businesses with up to A$100 million in annual revenue. The product is written on the paper of Zurich Australian Insurance Ltd and combines Zurich’s local market presence with Cowbell’s underwriting technology and in-house claims capabilities.

Prime One is distributed through licensed brokers and offers cyber limits of up to A$5 million, with quoting and binding available in minutes. Each policy includes ongoing risk assessments and access to prevention and response services such as security testing, employee training, and vendor risk tools.

Cowbell has appointed Anthony Wall as Head of Underwriting and Alric Lal as Head of Business Development for Australia, bringing local cyber underwriting and broking experience to support the expansion.
