Cowbell appoints Kirsten Maley to lead UK claims ops

Cowbell has appointed Kirsten Maley as Director of Claims, UK—a new role as the cyber insurance provider looks to scale its presence in the UK market.

Maley joins from CFC Underwriting, where she served as Senior Claims Adjuster, handling cyber claims involving corporate breaches and class actions. She also led operational improvements and training initiatives for CFC’s Lloyd’s syndicate.

At Cowbell, Maley will oversee UK claims operations, working with internal teams, brokers, and regulators. She reports to Mamta Birla, Interim Head of Claims, and will lead a team focused on helping SMEs and mid-market clients navigate cyber incidents.
