Embroker plans to utilize the new funding to expand the company into a full-stack insurtech by building its own insurance carrier.

The company has raised $35 million in a Series B funding round.

With the deal, Berkshire Hathaway becomes Nubank's largest shareholder.

The round included IA Capital, Nationwide, Cofounders Capital, Fin VC, and Cameron Ventures.

Dave is merging with a SPAC.

To date, the company has raised ~€66 million. 

Founded in 2017, Neon offers an app-based banking solution where users can open a bank account and get a free Mastercard with low fees.

The company is backed by Japanese insurer SOMPO Holdings.

The total capital raised in this round is $69.2 million.

The "insurance challenger" company is a team of ~40 offering home and contents insurance. It was founded in 2016 and as of last year, it had over 25,000 customers.

The company's API solution is integrated by insurers across multiple distribution channels, ranging from tied agents to independent intermediaries and online channels.

The startup has raised $10 million in Series A funding led by QED Investors with participation from existing investors NYCA Partners and General Catalyst.

The NY-based startup leverages APIs to allow companies to connect into a users’s payroll information system.
