Bridge Specialty Group expands western operations with BSIB launch

Bridge Specialty Group is expanding its western operations with the launch of Bridge Specialty Insurance Brokerage (BSIB) for property and casualty. The platform brings together teams previously known as ECC, MacDuff, Peachtree Special Risk, and RLA, adding more capacity for complex wholesale brokerage business. It builds on the company’s existing western units, including Big Sky, Hull, JE Brown, and One80 Intermediaries.

The expansion comes with several leadership moves. Travis Blackford will lead BSIB’s casualty operations in the West. Bill Dow will oversee brokerage property. Brian Turnbull, formerly with Arrowhead Programs, joins as regional president for contract binding and light brokerage.

Bridge says the build-out strengthens its ability to serve brokers and handle more specialized risks across the region.
