Bridge Specialty Group names Todd Wood chief underwriting officer

Bridge Specialty Group  appointed Todd Wood chief underwriting officer for its North American wholesale business.

Wood will oversee underwriting strategy, standards and quality controls across the company’s North American operations. He will also lead initiatives involving data analytics, third-party data, AI-enabled capabilities and workflow enhancements, as well as underwriting training and talent development.

Wood joined Bridge Specialty Group in 2023 through its acquisition of New England Excess Exchange, where he has served as president since 2019. He has more than 25 years of specialty insurance experience, including more than two decades in excess and surplus lines.
