AXA UK taps Cotality for building repair network
AXA UK has entered a multiyear agreement with Cotality to power its first in-house Building Repair Network, scheduled to go live in October 2026.
The network will connect policyholders, repair contractors and claims teams on a single platform across personal and commercial property claims. It will replace several legacy systems and coordinate the process from initial assessment through repair completion.
AXA UK will use Cotality’s Claims Workspace alongside tools for estimating, video assessments, desk adjusting, direct communication and tracking claim-level carbon emissions. The system will match contractors to claims based on expertise, location and availability. Participating contractors will also have access to Contractor Workspace to manage jobs and exchange information.
According to Cotality, Claims Workspace is used by 10 of the top 15 UK property insurers and supports one in three UK property claims.
“Property claims involve insurers, policyholders, adjusters, and contractors working together at a time when clear communication really matters. By connecting these parties through one ecosystem, AXA UK will create a smoother and more consistent journey from assessment through to repair. This is an important collaboration for Cotality, a demonstration of AXA UK’s vision and trust, and a strong example of how unified technology can support better experiences for policyholders.” – Mark Barrett, Vice President, Go-to-Market, UK & Europe at Cotality.
