APOLLO launches Tenant Shield property damage coverage for renters

APOLLO Insurance has introduced Tenant Shield, a new optional add-on that provides renters with up to $10,000 in coverage for sudden and accidental damage they may cause to a rental property. The product is designed to address gaps between standard tenant liability coverage and the cost of real-world repairs.

The coverage applies to sudden and accidental physical damage to rented premises for which the tenant is legally liable, subject to policy terms, conditions, and exclusions. Tenant Shield carries a $1,000 deductible and is available as an optional add-on to APOLLO tenant insurance policies.
