Allianz Partners to shrink workforce

Allianz Partners, the travel insurance division of Allianz, plans to reduce its workforce by 1,500-1,800 employees over the coming 12-18 months.

Allianz Partners employs 22,600 people, with around 14,000 handling customer inquiries and claims by phone.

According to a report by Versicherungsmonitor, most of the cuts will impact phone reps as the company implements more AI solutions.
