A word on Uber

“Uber is dead in 5 years” – Senior Strategic Partnership Manager at Red Hat, Eric Blaufarb, suggests fully autonomous vehicles will be the end of Uber. Here’s his logic. Google, Apple and Tesla are in the process of delivering fully autonomous vehicles come 2020. Uber doesn’t have the cash (or the expertise) to build such cars in scale. Keyword: Scale. Also, Google, Apple or Tesla can reproduce Uber’s killer platform and people will switch. There you have it. 2020. Uber. Dead. Not everyone is okay with this.
