Italian insurer Sara Assicurazioni has introduced its first UBI product called GUIDO BENE, a car insurance policy that rewards good drivers; in partnership with Octo Telematics.

Here’s How it Works: To sign up, users arrive at one of the insurer’s agencies and sign up with GUIDO BENE . They will immediately be given a 25% welcome bonus. Users install the Octo Telematics black box at authorized workshops and download the GUIDO BENE app on the IOS or ANDORID stores. Users drive well and watch out for sudden braking, sudden acceleration and sharp bends. Users check their progress and areas for improvement on the GUIDO BENE app. At the tenth month of the policy the renewal discount seen on the app will be the definitive one.
